I didn't put up a struggle and I fell head long into sin. And when the opportunity came, I saw a way to move out of that world.
But God held me there and said, "Stay."
My friends, I live on one of the biggest campuses in the entire country-- 50,000 students.
I live in the Co-Op system with 13 MSU Co-Ops.
Our surroundings are consumed with sin unmentionable.
I am moving to the largest Cooperative.
There are a total of 129 students in the MSU Co-Ops this year.
But people outside the Co-Ops come to the many parties.
So here I stand, leaving the past behind me. Leaving my inquity, temptations, and selfishness, but still remaining under the influence of the Living God. In the short run, I realized I need Christian fellowship here. And I will do anything to find it. So I'm going to hold a Bible exploration meeting on a Friday Night and announce it to all the Co-Ops.
I believe that with your prayer, God's hands will move on the Co-Ops. That God will start something new here and change us from the inside out. I need your help though.
I'm asking for prayer pledges.
God does not ask us to stand on our own. Please stand with me and pray for God's hand to move and create revival and just change lives.
1. Tell me your first name and which days of the week you will be praying and how many months.
2. You can contact me through livejournal comments, but preferably through e-mail so I can reply easier. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
